Billing & quotas
Plans, what counts as a split, and what doesn't.
nohold pricing is based on splits per month — not seats, not store volume. A split is a single mixed-cart order separated into two Brightpearl Sales Orders.

All plans include every feature — auto-release, retry-safe dispatch, audit trail, connection health monitor. There's no feature gating between tiers.
All new accounts get a 14-day free trial. No credit card required up front.
What counts as a split

Single-status orders pass through nohold without modification and don't consume quota. Most merchants find that 60–80% of their orders are single-status — only a fraction touch the quota.
When you hit the limit
If you exceed your monthly quota, mixed carts are dispatched as a single held SO — the safe-default Brightpearl behavior, identical to what would happen without nohold installed. Orders are never lost or rejected.
You'll see:
- A red banner on the dashboard: "Monthly split quota reached".
- An email at 80%, 100%, and 110% of quota.
Quota resets on the 1st of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC.
Upgrading or downgrading
Change plans any time from Settings → Billing. Changes take effect immediately:
- Upgrade: new quota applies right away. You're prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- Downgrade: new lower quota applies at the start of the next cycle. You keep your current quota until then.
Cancel from the same page. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you reactivate; after that it's permanently deleted.
Invoicing & receipts
Stripe handles billing. Invoices are emailed to the billing contact set in Settings → Billing, and accessible any time from the same page.
For VAT / tax-ID configuration, set the relevant fields on the billing form before your next invoice generates.
Free during certain conditions
You're not charged when:
- The Brightpearl connection is disconnected — splits queue but don't count.
- Your account is in trial (first 14 days).
- nohold itself is down for an extended period (rare; we proactively credit affected merchants).
